About The Position

Precision Strategies is now accepting applications for rising seniors and recent graduates for our fellowship program. This is an exciting opportunity to join either our Washington, D.C. or New York offices and learn about how a dynamic agency works. Our fellowship is a paid program and requires fellows to commit to 40 hours a week. We are currently working in a hybrid model and staff are required to work 50% of the time in office. For rising seniors, the fellowship will run from May 18 - August 7, 2026. For those that have graduated the fellowship will run from May 18 - December 18, 2026. Deadline for applications is Sunday, March 1, 2026.

Requirements

  • A strong interest in growing their analytics skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with an interest in tackling complex problems
  • Experience with research—either academically or in past positions or internships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail.
  • The ability to work collaboratively on a team
  • Creative, energetic, detail-oriented and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Experience with the Microsoft suite and Google Suite (Particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Slides)
  • Attention to detail and willingness to take on new challenges

Responsibilities

  • Providing support to our team on a variety of clients ranging from companies, causes, and campaigns.
  • Compiling both qualitative and quantitative data from a series of data sources for reporting and analysis (including Meltwater, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Quid, Buzzsumo, Pollfish, Google Analytics, and more)
  • Leverage AI for efficiencies, streamlining, and scale wherever possible.
  • Quality check and analyze key outputs.
  • Reading and categorizing digital content samples (including articles, tweets, and posts)
  • Creating short analyses of data sets (including through both written summaries and data visualization)
  • Doing independent desk research to augment qualitative understanding of data sets
  • Slide building for ongoing monitoring reports and deeper analysis
  • Gain understanding of the PR profession and agency life through structured training programs and on the job training.
