As a Fellow - Core Network Security Architect at RTX Corporation, you will play a pivotal role within the Enterprise Services Infrastructure Architecture team. This position is designed for a cross-functional leader who will serve as a mentor and technical expert across the organization, focusing on both perimeter and internal Cyber defense strategies as well as advanced network security architectures. Your primary responsibility will be to develop infrastructure architectural solutions and standards that align with RTX's customer and business needs, supporting the overarching Digital architecture strategy and execution. In this role, you will lead cross-functional architecture efforts, collaborating closely with Application, Data, and Cyber Security architects to deliver comprehensive solutions. You will be responsible for creating Enterprise Architecture artifacts, blueprints, standards, and roadmaps that encompass Core Network Security Services, including Firewall, Remote Access, Third Party Connectivity, Zero Trust, and Cloud Networking. Your expertise will be crucial in developing secure network architectures for various internal and business unit projects, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will partner with Cyber teams to create and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines to protect the company's digital assets. You will also be involved in the integration of new and existing security technologies, participating in proof of concepts, pilots, and lab testing to ensure effective implementation. Your role will require you to identify and architect automation solutions to enhance efficiency and proactively address gaps in security measures. As a mentor, you will provide training and guidance to engineers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. You will also be expected to demonstrate the RTX Fellows Pillars, which include technical excellence, leadership excellence, innovation and impact, and mentorship. This position is not only about technical expertise but also about building and developing the Digital Technology Fellow pipeline by coaching and mentoring other employees.
