About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Feedstock Processor to join our team. In this vital role, you will support the plant by carrying out the necessary processes to ensure proper material handling and cleanliness. NLC Energy LLC is a renewable natural gas company repurposing organic waste to help a busy planet grow sustainability. We operate a renewable natural gas facility that converts organic waste into useful commodities like clean energy, organic nutrients, clean water, organic liquid carbon dioxide, and dry ice. Our plant, located in Denmark, WI has a dedicated workforce grounded in positive relationships with one another, and we strive to be a foundation in people’s lives.

Requirements

  • Must be able to operate spotter truck, pallet jack, forklift, skid steer, manitou, air compressors, tractors, and other similar equipment.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments both mechanical and electrical.
  • Possess good language & communication skills (fluent verbal & written English comprehension) to interpret procedures, comprehend instructions, and communicate effectively with others.
  • Basic knowledge of chemicals, their interactions, and safe handling practices
  • Ability to understands and follow safety, environmental, and quality regulations
  • Self-motivated, a self-starter and self-directed to work without close supervision in a team environment.
  • Hard working, dependable, safety, and quality conscious.
  • Performing each task from inception to conclusion to the highest possible standards
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Physical ability to work around and on industrial equipment, including frequent climbing, stooping, bending, squatting, reaching, pulling, pushing, twisting, bending, kneeling, crawling and grasping.
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 80lbs.
  • Must have efficient eye-hand coordination.
  • Work standing or walking for long periods of time, and data entry while taking samples for more than one hour at a time.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to climb several flights of stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to open valves and torque bolts up to 1.5 inches and 200 lbs
  • Must be able to clearly delineate between different colors.
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas (Hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel toed boots and hearing protection).

Responsibilities

  • Unload incoming feedstocks from various methods of delivery and load outgoing product as required in a timely matter.
  • Reporting weights, pH’s, and temperatures for scale tickets/billing.
  • Maintains all records, logs and summary documents associated with the operation and any analytical tests.
  • Process de packaged materials per requirements, including conducting pre- and post- de packaging inspections per checklists.
  • Assist with delivery, set-up, tear-down, return, and maintenance of all Land Application equipment.
