About The Position
Responsible for the preparation and delivery of infant feedings following sanitary regulations and standards established by regulatory agencies and Albany Medical Center. Responsibilities
- Prepares and distributes infant feedings for The Children's Hospital
- Follows patient safety standards during preparation and delivery of formula and breast/donor milk.
- Operate equipment necessary to successfully prepare and deliver infant feedings. Able to read and interpret feeding orders.
- Follows all procedures and processes defined for formula and breast/donor milk preparation.
- Maintain good organizational skills for formula and breast/donor milk preparation.
- Responsible for maintaining inventories for all items/products utilized for the preparation and delivery of formula and breast/donor milk.
- Demonstrates the ability to use effective communication skills with the interdisciplinary team to manage job duties
- When staffing allows, function in a teaching role for other health care professionals and new hires.
