Feeder Operator
About The Position

Primary duties include safely performing a wide range of tasks that include: • Monitoring ongoing loads from corrugator that are feeding into the machines • Performing a variety of tasks while machine runs to supplement activities of other team members. • Machine set up • Removing sheets from machine when necessary (jams, warps) • Stacking corrugated product, conducting quality checks, material set-up, and maintaining a clean andanized workspace.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a strongmitment to working safe, demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment, a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operatingplex machinery and have a desire to advance within thepany
- Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific direction, operate power hand tools, and other duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math andputer skills.
- Ability to work safely andply with all safety regulations.
- Ability to lift, push or pull 50lbs, navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to climb with ink buckets weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Basic mechanical ability to operate tools, set up and adjust machine
- Basic math skills to count production quantities, measure raw materials and finished product
- REQUIRED to work daily OVERTIME, weekend work and various shifts depending on your position.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working on a FFG machine or other similar equipment a plus
