About The Position

This position has a flexible start time between 9am-11am and works until closed that evening. Position Summary: Work through the complete operation of manufacturing feed including, but not limited to, manufacture feed, inventory management, maintenance and repairs, daily cleaning, records, receiving ingredients and communications with office staff.

• Ability to commute/relocate: Emmetsburg, IA 50536: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Feed
• Setting manufacturing plan for day
• Manufacture feed with an automated batching system and/or manual system
• Accurately weigh proper micro-ingredients and place in proper batch
• Ensure feed is properly mixed and labeled each batch
• Follow feed GMPs (good manufacturing practices)
• Ensure scale accuracy daily
• Loading and unloading feed and/or products bulk/ bags
• Follow bio-security protocols
• Record Keeping
• Inventory management
• Analyzing records to improve efficiencies
• Regular, consistent attendance is essential to the function of this position.
