Join us and be part of our success! Bachoco USA is seeking a Feed Mill Supervisor for our Fort Smith, AR location. Summary: Assists the Feed Mill Superintendent in managing all aspects of the feed milling and delivery process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One to two years related experience and/or training
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Manufacturing software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the employees of the mill and feed haul.
• Helps complete required paperwork.
• Works with mill employees to schedule feed manufacturing.
• Work with dispatch to ensure that feed is being delivered on schedule.
• Works with mill maintenance to minimize mill downtime.
• Helps ensure compliance with all federal regulation i.e.: OSHA, FDA.
• Helps promote a safe work environment through implementation of the safety program.
