About The Position

This position is responsible for performing tasks assigned by supervisor that are associated with the day to day. Working conditions: Must be able to work in all-weather/climate conditions from very cold to very hot and humid. Must be able to work in a dusty environment. This position pays $19.20/hr.

Requirements

• 1 year feed mill experience preferred
• Must have at least 6 months operator experience with various types of power industrial vehicles
• 180 days wait period from last termination date
• 3X rule (candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before)

Responsibilities

• Ability to read and write in order to receive and document orders
• Schedule loads of feed by creating and organizing feed tickets and maintaining them for record keeping
• Dispatch loads of feed and distribute them evenly among driver/team members within DOT rules and regulations
• Answer calls from Service Techs and Growers while maintaining a good working relationship with them
• Organize/flex task and change priorities throughout the day
• Work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments
• Work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling
• Work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures
• Sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species
• Maintain good housekeeping including service areas
• Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required
• Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols
• Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day
• Complete all other tasks assigned by management
