About The Position

The position at Tyson involves various responsibilities related to the scheduling and dispatching of feed loads, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with safety and biosecurity guidelines. The successful candidate will be required to communicate effectively with service technicians and growers, manage tasks flexibly throughout the day, and maintain good housekeeping in service areas. The role demands physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme weather and elevated areas. The position also requires adherence to Tyson's health and safety protocols and the ability to lift heavy loads as needed.

Requirements

• Education: High school degree or equivalent
• Experience: Must have 6 months of experience in related field with clerical experience and/or feed mill experience. Knowledge of DOT trucking procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ability to read and write in order to receive and document orders
• Ability to schedule loads of feed by creating and organizing feed tickets and maintaining them for record keeping
• Ability to dispatch loads of feed and distribute them evenly among driver/team members within DOT rules and regulations
• Ability to answer calls from Service Techs and Growers while maintaining a good working relationship with them
• Ability to organize/flex task and change priorities throughout the day
• Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments with heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling
• Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures
• Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species
• Maintain good housekeeping including service areas
• Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required
• Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day
• Complete all other tasks assigned by management
