About The Position

This position is responsible to operate unloading equipment to unload all incoming bulk ingredients on rail and/or truck. Candidate must obtain and maintain Tyson Operators Permit. MS driver's license with no more than two moving violations. No DUI/DWI.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
One (1) year of manufacturing/production experience as identified on application or resume.
Must have six (6) months of continuous work history with one employer within the last 12 (twelve) months regardless of work performed in manufacturing/production, and valid class D license (as applicable).
Selected candidate must live in a 30-mile radius from facility.

Responsibilities

Ability to accurately record data
Ability be able to operate scales and document incoming ingredients through the ticketing system
Ability to operate equipment to unload feed ingredients and route to appropriate storage silo
Ability to obtain and run quality analysis on required incoming ingredients
Ability to lift and use hand tools to assist in unloading of ingredients
Ability to perform minor maintenance duties using hand tools
Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.
Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling
Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures
Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species
Maintain good housekeeping including service areas
Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required
Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols
Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs. with assistance
Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day.
Complete all other tasks assigned by management.
