About The Position

This position is responsible to operate unloading equipment to unload all incoming bulk ingredients on rail and/or truck. Candidate must obtain and maintain Tyson Operators Permit. MS driver's license with no more than two moving violations. No DUI/DWI.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of manufacturing/production experience as identified on application or resume.
  • Must have six (6) months of continuous work history with one employer within the last 12 (twelve) months regardless of work performed in manufacturing/production, and valid class D license (as applicable).
  • Selected candidate must live in a 30-mile radius from facility.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to accurately record data
  • Ability be able to operate scales and document incoming ingredients through the ticketing system
  • Ability to operate equipment to unload feed ingredients and route to appropriate storage silo
  • Ability to obtain and run quality analysis on required incoming ingredients
  • Ability to lift and use hand tools to assist in unloading of ingredients
  • Ability to perform minor maintenance duties using hand tools
  • Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.
  • Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling
  • Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures
  • Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species
  • Maintain good housekeeping including service areas
  • Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required
  • Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols
  • Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs. with assistance
  • Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day.
  • Complete all other tasks assigned by management.
