About The Position

Job Details: Working conditions: Must be able to work in all-weather/climate conditions from very cold to very hot and humid. Must be able to work in a dusty environment. This position pays $19.65/hr. No bonus. Typical schedule is Sunday- Thursday 10:00pm- 6:00am Weekends/holidays are expected depending on company needs. 1.Must have the ability to accurately record data 2 .Must have the ability to accurately calculate the amount of feed you can produce 3.Must have the ability to accurately read a tape measure for end of shift inventory 4. Must have the ability to open heavy doors and clean out mills 5. Ability to push/pull pallet jack with bulk/1 ton bags of ingredients and hang them 6. Must have the ability to perform minor maintenance duties using hand tools 7. Must be Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather. 8. Must have the ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling 9. Must have the ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures 10.Must be Able to abide by the Company Biosecurity Guildelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species 11. Maintain good housekeeping including service areas 12. Communicate with dispatch to make sure the feed they need is being produced 13. Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols 14. Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance 15. Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day. 16. Complete all other tasks assigned by management. Education: HS diploma or equivalent preferred Experience: 1 year feed mill experience preferred Special Skills: 1. Basic Math Skills 2. Communication Skills 3. Basic mechanical Skills 4. Basic computer skill 5. Must have the ability to certify and maintain PIT Certification 6. Must have the ability to certify as a Weigh Master 7. Must have the ability to achieve and maintain respirator certification where applicable (ability be clean shaven) 8. Valid Class D License where applicable The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Requirements. Batching Opr. Six (6) months of feed mill experience preferred. High school degree or equivalent. Minimum of 3 months continuous experience in Industrial/Manufacturing/Construction/Landscaping/Ranching/Farming environment. 180 days wait period from last termination date. 3X rule (candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before).

Responsibilities
