Shelbyville Feed Mill Milling - Feed Batching Operator FM02 - Full Time (2nd Shift)
About The Position
Operate the milling process at a feed mill to combine feed ingredients per a formula to provide a finish product for deliver to farms. This job involves operating a complex batching and routing computers to make feed. Team member must be able to withstand excessive bending, heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and climbing. The Feed Mill environment is dusty and varies in temperature extremes. This will be a back- up position for batching and loading trucks. The regular duties will consist mainly of those performed by a Mill Hand. The team member selected for this job must be able to work well with others and complete all jobs specified by their supervisor. Make sure all reports and receiving paperwork are accurate and legible. Must follow all QA, FDA and Feed milling guidelines. This position will also monitor all equipment to ensure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Applicants must be 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves
- 1 year of feed mill experience preferred
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to certify and maintain PllIT Certification
- Ability to achieve and maintain respirator certification where applicable
- Ability to certify and maintain a Boiler Certification where applicable

- Daily position report for ingredients
- Weekly ordering of ingredients
- Daily variance report
- Weekend ingredient and finished feed inventory and closing reconciliation
- Other duties as assigned
