About The Position

This position involves operating the milling process at a feed mill to combine feed ingredients per a formula to provide a finished product for delivery to farms. The role requires operating and monitoring batching equipment, performing quality checks, managing inventory, maintaining equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and collaborating with team members for efficient feed production.

Requirements

At least three (3) months of experience with processing equipment used in food processing (i.e. grinders, blenders, knife sharpening tools) OR 3 months of experience in the operation and maintenance of machines like slicers, etc.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor batching equipment to ensure accurate and timely mixing of feed ingredients.
Perform quality checks to ensure feed meets specified standards and report any discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of feed ingredients and report inventory levels.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of batching equipment to ensure proper operation.
Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Keep detailed logs of batching activities, including ingredient usage and batch numbers.
Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient feed production and address any issues that arise.
