Management Level: Class 2 $18.55/Hour Requirements/Qualifications: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation: Physical Tasks: Lift and use hand tools to assist in unloading ingredients and perform minor maintenance duties. Physical Capability: Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs. with assistance; sustain physical activity throughout the day. Responsibilities: This job will require you to communicate effectively across all levels of management including Customers and Vendors, both verbally and in written paperwork for departments Data Accuracy: Accurately record data to ensure precision in all operations. Ingredient Management: Operate scales and document incoming ingredients through our ticketing system. Equipment Operation: Unload feed ingredients and route them to the appropriate storage silos using our equipment. System Management: Operate computerized pelleting and batching systems to batch, pellet, and route finished feed based on run schedules. Quality Assurance: Obtain and run quality analysis on required incoming ingredients. Loading Operations: Operate loading equipment to ensure the correct feed type is loaded and sent to the correct farm. Task Flexibility: Organize and prioritize tasks throughout the day to adapt to changing demands. Inventory Management: Take feed bin inventory as needed. Environment: Environmental Adaptability: Work in various environments, including hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold conditions with heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather. Standing or walking up to 100% of the time. Equipment: Safety is always FIRST with Tyson Foods and at Tyson all Team Members are expected to practice safety standards, policies, and procedures. As part of our ongoing commitment to safety we assist with providing some of the Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Safety Compliance: Work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures. Biosecurity Adherence: Sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines, including avoiding any avian species. Housekeeping: Maintain good housekeeping, including service areas. Health and Safety: Follow and operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols. May work with corrective lenses if vision problems. May be provided PPE for additional hearing protection as needed. Must have less than 7 attendance points and have no written disciplinary actions in the last 12 months. This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
