Feed Batching Operator FM03- 1st Shift - Gonzales, TX
About The Position
Operate the milling process at a feed mill to combine feed ingredients per a formula to provide a finish product for deliver to farms This position is responsible for inventory of all the farms that need feed delivery, as well as running the computer to make the feed while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicant will be responsible for producing finished feed and keeping all Tyson, FDA, safety, and environmental records associated with feed production, and related activities. Applicant must be able to work weekends and long shifts. Must be willing to withstand excessive bending, heavy lifting and climbing. The feed mill environment is dusty and varies in EXTREME TEMPERATURES. The individual selected for this job must be able to work well with others and complete all jobs specified by their supervisor. This job involves learning batching and pelleting computer control systems as well as being responsible for general mill housekeeping duties and performing light maintenance work as needed. This position includes clean-up, and a daily/weekly housekeeping checklist that may involve cleaning bathroom, break room, all areas of the feed mill and grounds by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming or other means. Applicant will be responsible for learning to operate a forklift. All applicants must provide their Social Security Number on their application. Requirements
- Must be able to work weekends and long shifts
