About The Position
IMMEDIATELY HIRING - FedEx Ground - Delivery Driver. We are seeking dedicated and energetic drivers who enjoy being on the road and working independently. As a delivery driver for FedEx Ground, you will be responsible for delivering packages to both residential and business customers, ensuring that each delivery is made safely and efficiently. This role requires a commitment to achieving goals and maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail. You will start your day by meeting with your team, where we will provide you with all the necessary tools to ensure a successful day of deliveries. In this position, you will be expected to drive a step van or box truck, delivering packages to various locations. You will need to check the pre-load of your vehicle, operate it safely, maintain cleanliness, and report any malfunctions or hazardous conditions. Following company and customer procedures is essential, as is observing all traffic laws and speed limits. You will also be responsible for returning all required documentation to the appropriate company official and maintaining a neat personal appearance while on duty. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, as you will be required to work 4 to 5 days a week, starting at 7:45 AM, including at least one weekend day. You should be able to multi-task, possess a strong sense of direction, and have the ability to lift up to 150 lbs. This role involves getting in and out of the delivery van over 200 times a day and climbing multiple building floors via stairwells. If you have previous delivery experience, especially in the Doylestown area, it will be considered a plus.
