About The Position

The Federal Work Study Program offers part-time positions for current Ivy Tech students who meet federal work-study criteria. These positions are federally funded and located on campus, providing opportunities for general office support, lab and technology support, tutoring, and various other duties as needed by department staff. Each position will have a specific set of responsibilities that will be explained during the interview process. Additionally, for students taking classes at Ivy Tech in Fort Wayne, there are opportunities to partner with private non-profit agencies, allowing students to utilize their skills and gain meaningful work experience while earning extra income that may apply towards their degree.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours each semester
• Must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress as determined by the Financial Aid Office
• Must have a current and completed FAFSA on file
• Must demonstrate financial need

Responsibilities

• Provide general office support
• Assist with lab and technology support
• Offer tutoring services
• Perform various other duties as needed by department staff
