About The Position

Work with the Chronic Diseases Prevention and Self-Management Program team to enroll or lead program classes.

Requirements

  • To be trained as a lifestyle coach or leader within 3 months of hire, if leading any applicable classes.

Nice To Haves

  • Earning a degree in public health, healthcare administration or related discipline.
  • Bilingual (English - Spanish).
  • Experience in implementing lifestyle modification programs.
  • Experience working in academic health centers.
  • Experience in working with participants of all ages .

Responsibilities

  • Recruit program participants, adhering to each program's eligibility criteria.
  • Participate in recruitment events, pitching the program information to potential participants.
  • Participate in investigator meetings and workshops.
  • Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
  • Conduct Chronic Diseases Prevention and Self-Management Program classes, as assigned.
  • Collect and report point-of-care blood work, biometrics, and surveys from program participants.
  • Record and report participant data and outcomes.
  • Performs related duties as required.
