About The Position

The Federal Work Study - Reading Partners Tutor position is designed for students who are approved for and awarded Federal Work Study funding via the Golden Gate University Financial Aid Office. This role involves providing tutoring services to elementary school students, helping them develop lifelong literacy skills that will serve as a foundation for future learning. The position may be in-person or remote, with a flexible schedule based on the tutor's class schedule, requiring 5 to 20 hours of work per week. The tutoring will utilize a highly effective curriculum provided by Reading Partners, along with training and ongoing support.

Requirements

• Must be a matriculated student at Golden Gate University.
• Must be currently enrolled at least half-time.
• Must have Federal Work Study eligibility based on the FAFSA.
• Must be a resident of California.
• Background check required.
