About The Position

The Federal Work Study- Computer/Piano Lab Assistant provides technical and customer service support in the Music Department's computer/piano labs. This role helps maintain a productive, secure, and user-friendly environment for students using computing resources. Must be eligible for Federal Work Study. If uncertain of eligibility, please contact the Office of Financial Aid.

Requirements

Must be a currently enrolled student at Jax State University and qualify for the Federal Work Study program
Punctual, reliable, and responsible
Must be able to work between the hours of 5pm-11pm and adhere to a set scheduled weekly lab time
Must be able to work some weekend shifts as need for lab access requires

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in customer service or technical support
Experience with printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices
Basic troubleshooting skill
