About The Position

Federal Project Coordinator The Opportunity: The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create powerful change. This role supports an agency that funds transformational energy research and development ( R & D ) programs at a rapid pace. The agency needs an organized, compliant, and fair review process, and the team is seeking additional support to navigate the requirements, stakeholder interactions, and policies that drive this process forward. A strong candidate for the role of Project Coordi nato r will be highly organized, have thorough attention to detail, be capable of independently managing their time, tasks, and priorities, and feel confident e nga ging with a wide variety of stakeholders both internal and external to the agency. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality outputs on time and will interface directly, both in person and on-site, with senior client stakeholders. You'll coordinate with a variety of staff, technical and operational project managers, and researchers that are leaders in their fields to ensure compliance and fairness in the review process. You will be a critical and visible part of the process to help achieve our client's goal of rapidly funding cutting-edge energy technologies. You will work with an existing team to support all aspects of the Notice of Funding Opportunity ( NOFO ) lifecycle, including the development of NOFOs, recruitment and coordination of external merit reviewers, preparation of written reports and briefs that reflect the selection process, and coordination and facilitation of meetings. This team works closely with one another, balancing workloads and stepping in to assist with others' programs. Join us. The world can't wait.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with program and project support to the federal, state, or local government or R & D organizations
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with clients or providing direct support to high-level organization leadership
  • Experience using Micro sof t Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to exhibit flexibility and adaptability and be team-oriented
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
