About The Position

The Federal Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing plans for the Federal Government Sector (Defense & Civilian). This includes market research, brand/product management, advertising/sales promotion, tradeshow messaging, and content development. The role requires experience in marketing solutions-based products and a willingness to try new marketing tactics to achieve business goals that resonate with the federal buyer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field required, MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years integrated marketing experience.
  • Former Federal Government employee or Department of Defense service member preferred.
  • Government Marketing Management experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of marketing concepts and best practices.
  • Knowledge of Government Contracts, Bids, and Proposals is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing plans to support the Government Sector Mobility business.
  • Vertical Marketing lead for Mobility Government Sector business results.
  • Coordinate with Government Sector sales teams on sales objectives and focus areas, marketing strategies to drive results and improve ROI of all marketing plans.
  • Develop and execute messaging of Mobility solutions strategy for the Federal Government Sector Vertical.
  • Coordinate Government Sector tradeshow and event activities.
  • Oversee and evaluate market insights based on voice of customer and voice of sales.
  • Monitor competitive products and marketing activities.
  • Direct marketing surveys on current and new product concepts.
  • Guide preparation of marketing activity reports and present to executive management.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop targeted industry specific messages.
  • Manage the Government Sector marketing operating budget.
  • Coordinate and interface with primary agencies and digital team.
