About The Position

Dexcom is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented marketing professional with a passion for building a world-class, purpose-driven brand marketing that helps HCPs and patients with diabetes to take control of their health. The Federal Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and delivering innovative marketing programs and initiatives that drive growth and strengthen our market position within the Federal Market (Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense). This is an incredible opportunity to combine a passion for developing strategic plans with creative execution for patients and providers.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in both Patient and HCP marketing.
  • Operate as a self‑starter who can work independently in white space.
  • Enjoy working in a high‑performing team dynamic.
  • Action‑oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Communicate effectively and have a passion for connecting with people.
  • Deep knowledge of transforming insights into actionable plans that elevate the business.
  • Passionate about driving brand value and ensuring accountability for results.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience.
  • At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in Federal marketing (preferred, but not required).

Responsibilities

  • Develop the Federal Strategy for HCPs and patients and build an effective messaging platform to drive adoption of Dexcom G7 15 Day.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor Omnichannel marketing efforts—including personal (Federal Field Sales) and non-personal (media) initiatives—to support our Federal strategy.
  • Support in-office interactions, including patient education that incorporates health literacy principles.
  • Lead market research initiatives to better understand the needs of our veterans and federal employees.
  • Work as part of a dynamic, high‑functioning, cross‑collaborative team to ensure awareness and alignment across the organization.
  • Manage marketing budget tracking and reporting.
  • Manage the formal medical, legal, and regulatory process to ensure all marketing tactics are compliant and aligned with our standards and guidelines.
  • Partner with other functions, external agencies, and business partners to leverage all connection points and drive toward shared business goals.
