About The Position

Requirements

  • 7+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technical pre-sales or consulting experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or consulting experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Citizenship verification required due to legal restrictions for access to government information.
  • Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years thereafter.

Nice To Haves

  • 8+ years technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery experience.
  • 6+ years experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, and technology management.
  • Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Office 365, Azure Architect, Information Security).
  • 10+ years experience in the Defense or Intel Community.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and engage with key customer technical decision makers and influencers while leading sales strategy.
  • Lead complex technical wins by establishing rules of engagement and coaching others in the sales process.
  • Ensure alignment of Microsoft technologies with future sector standards by working with industry boards and driving customer case studies.
  • Leverage knowledge of resources to engage product teams and address escalated technical blockers.
  • Promote partner relationships within the Microsoft ecosystem to scale wins in a sell-with environment.
  • Build competitive knowledge and document compete patterns to drive change in selling strategies.
  • Develop strategic responses to market threats and deliver feedback on trends and needs.
  • Shape strategic win and customer success plans tailored to local markets using knowledge of Microsoft offerings.
  • Demonstrate solutions through architectural design sessions and proof of concept sessions.
  • Build readiness plans for peers and identify new opportunities for learning.
