About The Position

This position ensures HCBS compliance, Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) implementation, and regulatory data management by maintaining accurate, organized, and up-to-date records related to state and federal programs. The Data Coordinator is responsible for data collection, analysis, and verification to support individual record reviews, provider audits, and compliance tracking. Additionally, this position Verifies ongoing participation in state and federal programs, supports EVV data reconciliation, and works closely with internal teams, including the Waiver Team, HCBS Field Team, and Quality Assurance Team, to ensure data integrity. This role requires strong Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to analyze and interpret regulatory data to support compliance efforts and enhance CVRC’s ability to meet state and federal reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or AA and 1 year in related field.
  • Understanding of developmental disabilities and related conditions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with others.
  • Ability to prioritize varied work assignments and complete documentation within required timelines.
  • Ability to use computer and software for client documentation, client management information systems, email, and other required computerized functions.
  • Must demonstrate initiative, self-motivation, sound independent judgment, flexibility, strong interpersonal, and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and verifies compliance-related data to ensure accuracy and alignment with HCBS regulations, Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), and state and federal program requirements.
  • Performs data clean-up efforts to maintain up-to-date records related to Medi-Cal eligibility, waiver participation, and other state and federal benefits.
  • Monitors and reconciles EVV data to verify provider-submitted information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with state and federal mandates.
  • Verifies continued participation in state and federal programs, ensuring individuals meet eligibility requirements and that records are accurately updated.
  • Accesses state and federal systems to verify individual benefits, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates for compliance tracking.
  • Supports provider audits and compliance tracking by analyzing data, identifying inconsistencies, and ensuring corrective actions are documented.
  • Presents reports and compliance summaries for internal teams, highlighting trends, data discrepancies, and areas for improvement in HCBS compliance.
  • Schedules field visits for compliance assessments and audits, coordinating with internal teams and providers to ensure timely monitoring.
  • Completes documentation of monitoring visits and ensures reports are sent to providers and internal CVRC teams, maintaining accurate records for compliance and follow-up.
  • Collaborates with internal teams, including the Waiver Team, HCBS Field Team, and Quality Assurance Team, to share data insights and support compliance efforts.
  • Assists with state and federal audits by compiling necessary documentation, tracking key compliance trends, and ensuring all required data is readily available.
  • Maintains organized records and databases to support real-time compliance monitoring and regulatory reporting.
  • Stays informed on regulatory changes related to HCBS, EVV, and federal program requirements, ensuring data management practices remain up to date.
  • Participates in meetings and trainings to support data-driven decision-making and improve compliance monitoring efforts.
  • Identifies, coordinates, and provides information on community resources and services.
  • Supports effective and efficient business practice.
  • Maintains positive business relationships, confidentiality, good attendance, punctuality, and acts in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
