About The Position

Trellix is looking for a driven Inside Sales Representative to join our Federal Civilian team. Based out of our Tyson’s Corner, VA office, this hybrid role offers the perfect balance of collaborative in-office strategy and remote flexibility. You will play a pivotal role in securing the federal landscape by identifying new opportunities, nurturing agency relationships, and driving the adoption of our market-leading XDR technologies. In this high-impact position, you will act as a strategic engine for the Federal Civilian sales team. You will bridge the gap between initial business development and final deal closure, ensuring our cybersecurity solutions reach the agencies that need them most.

Requirements

  • You bring 2+ years of professional experience in high-technology sales, product development, or business development.
  • You have a documented track record of consistently meeting or overachieving your sales quotas.
  • You possess sharp time, account, and territory management skills, allowing you to prioritize the right deals at the right time.
  • You are an excellent communicator with the ability to deliver high-stakes presentations to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • You are a quick learner who can analyze market trends and agency needs to position Trellix effectively.
  • You are persistent, self-starting, and committed to delivering results above and beyond your assigned goals.

Nice To Haves

  • A background in the Security Software industry is a major plus.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage the complete sales cycle for commercial-level business opportunities, from prospecting to winning the deal.
  • Serve as a central point of contact, working closely with Legal, Finance, Customer Success, and Quoting teams to navigate hurdles and finalize contracts.
  • Take direct ownership of your individual pipeline, consistently hitting metrics and delivering closed/won revenue.
  • Oversee the renewal and quoting processes to ensure a seamless experience for both the customer and the internal team.
