About The Position
COR Enterprises is seeking a dedicated Federal Building Training Specialist to join our team in Billings, MT. This part-time position is crucial in supporting adults with disabilities by providing them with meaningful work opportunities in the community. The Federal Building Training Specialist will be responsible for supervising a small work crew of individuals with disabilities at the James F Battin Federal Building, ensuring they receive the necessary support and training to perform their tasks effectively. This role not only involves direct supervision but also requires a commitment to fostering a positive work environment that promotes the dignity and independence of our clients. The Federal Building Training Specialist will engage in various essential duties, including monitoring client activities, completing quality assurance paperwork, and ensuring the security of the building. The specialist will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, preparing for and attending meetings, and completing incident reports as needed. This position requires a proactive approach to training clients in cleaning tasks and performing janitorial and maintenance duties as necessary. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with clients and staff, promoting a positive image of COR Enterprises while adhering to safety and health regulations. This position operates Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of full-time hours for the right candidate. Flexibility in scheduling is a plus, as occasional adjustments may be required. The successful candidate must pass all applicable background checks, including a federal background check, and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. This role is non-exempt and may involve exposure to various environmental conditions, including physical and/or verbal aggression, and requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary.
