Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or other appropriate curriculum, plus two years of significantly related work experience, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to the above requirements.
  • Experience can be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

  • Use excellent customer service to establish and maintain effective, professional working relationships with team members and Public Transit subrecipients across the state.
  • Support our Financial Oversight unit to monitor the performance and financial status of grant-funded projects.
  • Provide technical assistance to subgrantees related to administrative, programmatic, and fiscal compliance with regulations, policies and procedures, and agency standards.
  • Work with State and Federal Transit grant programs to monitor and track expenses related to operating and non-operating expenses, and procurement to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and/or grant requirements.
  • You will be trained to better understand and interpret the Federal Transit Administration grant programs, Federal regulations, and applicable reporting guidelines.
  • Responsible for effectively and efficiently tracking and manipulating data to report operating and safety statistics monthly to the National Transit Database; This will encompass Public Transit across the state.
  • Support our Financial Oversight unit to monitor the performance and financial status of grant-funded projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
