The Account Manager will be responsible for generating new sales leads, qualifying opportunities and closing new business in your defined Federal territory. This position will be responsible for engaging with customers and the OEM proactively to identify new opportunities and move them through the sales cycle to closure. This position will build actionable proposals for customers, ensuring that internal reporting and CRM systems are up to date, maintain an accurate forecast to management by understanding a customer procurement process and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts. The Account Manager will contribute to the company's sales goals by following the processes and procedures necessary to support a transaction in a timely and effective manner, helping a customer to identify the optimal solution for their needs, leveraging the internal sales tools and engaging with internal resources as needed. Utilizing internal and external resources to learn about Salesforce products, product updates, service offerings and new technologies are important foundations of this role.
