About The Position

You will build a successful sales practice by working directly with the DoD, Intelligence Community, and/or Federal Civilian agencies, along with our industry partners. Our customer portfolio spans across the US Navy, US Marine Corp, US Army, Department of Homelands Security, Department of Interior, Department of Veterans Affairs, and many more. Requirements

  • High school diploma / GED.
  • 3+ years of recent Federal Market sales experience or recent experience working in a technical capacity for the Federal Government.
  • Excellent solution/consultative selling capability.
  • Demonstrated sales and account development experience with growth in revenue and gross profit.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities.
  • Attentive and responsive to internal and external communication.
  • Experienced in working with customer, departmental, and executive staff.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple projects.
  • Proactive approach to organization and problem solving.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to absorb technical information.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or a related experience, or equivalent corporate training.

Responsibilities

  • Discuss business requirements, challenges, and objectives with customers to uncover sales opportunities.
  • Position deals to win by working with Sales Engineers and Solutions Architects.
  • Conduct market research and prospecting to open sales opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with industry leading OEMs, consultants, and VARs.
  • Invest time into sales, industry, and OEM-specific training.
  • Maintain and update sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as engineering and project management.
