About The Position

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Pass a drug test, including marijuana, with continued random drug screens throughout employment.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Be able to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with a hand truck dolly.
• Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Be on time and ready to work each workday.
• Be able to climb stairs and work in all types of weather.
• Possess a strong work ethic and a 'get it done' attitude.

Nice To Haves

• A few months of FedEx delivery driving experience preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of how to use scanners and other standard procedures preferred, but not required.
• Some weekend availability preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the delivery vehicle safely at all times.
• Deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences, performing up to 150 stops a day.
• Perform daily inspections of the vehicle, including checking fluid levels.
• Load the vehicle for deliveries and organize daily loads.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with the manager.
• Accurately operate the scanner and effectively track the delivery process.
• Ensure accurate disposition of package deliveries and pickups.
