The Bay Area News Group is looking for an ambitious, creative, thoughtful editor to lead a team of award-winning assignment editors and beat and general assignment reporters focused on making an impact in one of the country's most interesting regions. We cover it all, from Silicon Valley to Oakland, Walnut Creek and the Tri-Valley, as we explore the vibrant culture that defines the Bay Area, from its enviable restaurant scene to its artists, musicians and thought leaders for our digital sites, our front page, two popular weekly print sections and seven premium magazines. Must be located in the South or East Bay Area and work at least three office days weekly in San Jose and/or Concord.
