Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the Dearborn office. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from Dearborn, MI. Develop a system level understanding across software, hardware and data related to a suite of prognostics features. Develop data-driven approaches to collecting and analyzing Connected Vehicle Data or large data sets. Create and review Design Verification Plans to validate assigned engineering features. Responsible for end-to-end issue resolution at time of system integration. Evaluate potential design options to make appropriate proposals considering feature requirements, available technology, efficiency, and platform capabilities. Develop test cases that exercise and verify the robustness of prognostic algorithms. Participate in cross-functional discussions to gather business requirements and technical expertise and translate them into tangible requirements and feature implementation plans to drive feature development. Interface with Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) to integrate smartphone technology into the overall customer service experience of the future. Drive change requirements for feature enhancements and quality improvements. Support the development of engineering deliverables in Failure Modes Analysis (FMA), feature interface documents and cybersecurity threat modeling. Develop and author product-specific requirements, evaluating quality and aiding to triage issues to determine root cause. Author and manage Key Performance Indicator dashboards, tracking metrics and providing critical feedback around customer experience. Domestic and International Travel Required up to 10%.
