The Feature Lead is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight for the myCTO portal. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of software programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.

  • Application design and solutioning for web-based internally developed portal (myCTO)
  • Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality
  • Guides the team on work breakdown and execution
  • Works with the Product Owner and scrum master to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria
  • Plays a team lead role and mentors the team
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • 7+ Years of Full-Stack Java Development
  • Hands-on software development within an Agile setting
  • 7+ Years applying SDLC standards for design, coding and quality
  • 7+ Years of IT experience in analyzing and developing applications using JAVA/J2EE technologies – including knowledge of frameworks and implementation
  • Willingness to work after hours as needed for production release support
  • Bachelors Degree in Technology or related field
  • Design of data intensive applications
  • Angular experience
  • Mongo DB
  • SpringBoot
  • Extensive experience in Core Java, S, JSP, Angular, Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, Micro Services, RDBMS, SQL
  • Proficient with writing complex and tuned SQL queries
