Position Summary: This role is responsible for leading the design, delivery, and evolution of cloud‑based, AI‑enabled data integration and analytics platforms to meet enterprise technology and business goals. The Lead drives architectural decisions across Informatica (on‑prem and cloud), public cloud services, and AI‑driven data capabilities, ensuring scalable, secure, and high‑performance data solutions. The role partners with Product, Application, Software Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, and Data Science teams to implement data and AI requirements, optimize platform performance, and resolve complex system engineering challenges. This position also provides technical leadership, governance, and mentorship across data, cloud, and AI initiatives. Cloud, AI & Platform Architecture Leadership Lead requirement gathering with application, analytics, and AI teams to enable necessary IICS capabilities, cloud services, and AI/ML data integrations. Own end‑to-end cloud‑first IICS platform setup, including Organizations, secure agents (cloud and hybrid), connections, role‑based access control (RBAC), and permissions. Define and enforce cloud data platform standards, including security, governance, lineage, observability, and responsible AI data usage. Influence adoption of AI‑assisted data integration, intelligent automation, and metadata‑driven pipelines where applicable. Engineering, Delivery & AI Enablement Lead the design, development, and migration of cloud‑scale Informatica assets and data pipelines across multiple environments and Organizations. Design and optimize pipelines that support AI/ML model training, real‑time analytics, and data-driven decisioning. Guide delivery of complex data transformations, data quality rules, metadata management, and workload orchestration in cloud and hybrid environments. Partner with Data Science and Analytics teams to ensure high‑quality, governed, and AI‑ready datasets. DevOps, Automation & Cloud Reliability Architect and maintain cloud‑native CI/CD pipelines supporting Informatica, infrastructure‑as-code, and data pipeline deployments across Orgs and Sub‑Orgs. Drive automation and AI‑assisted monitoring of platform utilization, performance, and cost efficiency; proactively remediate bottlenecks. Establish observability practices leveraging cloud monitoring, Operational Insights, and log analytics to ensure operational resilience. Operations, Security & Vendor Management Lead troubleshooting of complex cloud secure agent, network, and IICS runtime issues, performing deep root‑cause analysis. Act as senior escalation point with Informatica and cloud vendors, driving resolution for critical platform incidents. Ensure alignment with cloud security, identity (Azure AD), compliance, and data privacy standards, including AI data governance considerations. Testing, Quality & Risk Management Lead testing strategy across cloud, data, and AI workloads, including performance, scalability, and reliability testing. Review test outcomes, identify systemic risks, lead defect triage, and implement corrective actions. Ensure adherence to cloud release management, change control, and enterprise risk management processes. Leadership, Mentorship & Enablement Lead story refinement and delivery throughout the Agile lifecycle, removing technical blockers across data, cloud, and AI initiatives. Mentor Data Engineers and Platform Engineers on cloud architecture, Informatica best practices, AI‑ready data design, performance tuning, and automation. Monitor KPIs and operational controls to drive continuous improvement, reliability, and cost optimization. Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategic Influence Partner with stakeholders to close gaps in cloud data and AI standards adherence. Influence enterprise architecture by proposing scalable, secure, and AI‑enabled data solutions. Lead complex technology initiatives to ensure on‑time delivery and alignment with cloud and AI strategy. Required Qualifications Data, Cloud & AI Platform Expertise Strong (10+ yrs) hands‑on experience with Informatica on‑prem and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). Deep understanding of Informatica Cloud architecture, secure agents, and hybrid/cloud deployment models. Experience designing solutions on public cloud platforms (Azure preferred), including integration with Azure Active Directory. Experience delivering AI/ML‑enabled data pipelines that support analytics, model training, and intelligent applications. Hands‑on experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines across multiple Orgs and Sub‑Orgs. Knowledge of data replication and availability across cloud object storage (S3‑compatible), local file systems, and NAS. Familiarity with Operational Insights, cloud monitoring, and AI‑driven observability (preferred). Operational & Delivery Experience Proven experience with Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management in cloud environments. Demonstrated expertise in performance optimization, cost efficiency, and scaling cloud data workloads. Experience mentoring teams on cloud, data engineering, and AI data best practices.
