Having celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2019, Fearless is a true powerhouse that is ready to redefine the rock music landscape for another two decades and beyond. Fearless interns will learn about all facets of album cycle marketing through their positions, in which they will touch different forms of marketing for artists of dichotomous genres, who are in various points of their respective album cycles. Interns will learn how digital and physical marketing ideas, such as contesting, pre-save campaigns, album-specific campaigns, on-site festival activations, etc, move from ideation to implementation, while also contributing to the execution of these initiatives. Additionally, interns will earn the opportunity to develop their networking and business communication skills, through engagement with third parties such as agents or managers, and through participation in marketing meetings and brainstorm sessions. Our paid internship program will give you a unique opportunity to enhance your professional skillset, increase your knowledge of the industry, and expand your network. Our goal is to help you develop your talents as well as receive dedicated mentorship and support. Our Fall Internship Program will run from Tuesday, June 2nd- Friday, August 14th and allows interns to work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. This internship is a paid in-person opportunity and requires the ability to work in the specified office location.

Requirements

  • This internship is a part-time paid internship and requires someone located in/near Los Angeles
  • The timeline of this internship program runs from Tuesday, June 2nd- August 14th You must be able to work 20 hours/week.

Responsibilities

  • Research: conduct case studies and competitive intelligence studies as needed; previous research projects include collecting influencers for in-house influencer campaigns and studying competitive labels’ onsite festival activations
  • Marketing ideas: contribute to creative and problem-solving discussions during meetings; contribute creatively when developing
  • Cyclical-release-based tasks: picking TikTok timestamps, tracking social media followings, creating links and YouTube descriptions for upcoming releases, creating GIFs from music videos, etc
  • Assist Marketing Coordinator in running the Fearless Records Street Team: from ideation, to conducting outreach, creating assets, and building recap documents providing insight into Street Team missions’ impact on artist social growth, DSP streams, etc.
  • Miscellaneous assistance as needed: building out marketing decks, assisting with mailout projects, etc
