About The Position

The Manager of Business Intelligence Services at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and management of the Foundation's data and reporting infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of reliable data and insights that support critical organizational activities and decision-making processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in data warehouse development, data governance, modeling, analytics, and business intelligence practices.
• Experience with Salesforce and Marketing Cloud, particularly in managing data, reporting, and analytics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL and Power BI is required.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and make effective decisions in a complex business environment.

• Experience with data governance and information security practices.
• Familiarity with enterprise risk management and business continuity planning.

Responsibilities

• Support Strategic Data Initiatives by providing technical expertise and support for the Foundation's data, technology, analytics, and reporting plans.
• Maintain a service-oriented environment focused on delivering accurate, timely, and engaging data insights.
• Develop a deep understanding of source system data structures, application business rules, and data challenges within the Foundation.
• Standardize data channels, content, and refresh standards to ensure consistency across the organization.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of data structures within the Foundation's data warehouse using ETL tools and data extracts.
• Help develop and maintain metadata, maps, and data dictionaries for the data warehouse to ensure data integrity.
• Support continuous data integration and transformation efforts for efficient data processing.
• Contribute to logical and physical data modeling efforts for analytics and reporting needs.
• Ensure appropriate security, access, and change control standards for the data warehouse are adhered to.
• Author and maintain reports and dashboards that meet business intelligence requirements, focusing on Salesforce and Marketing Cloud.
• Stay current with technology trends and participate in training and vendor evaluations.
• Assist with enterprise risk management, business continuity planning, and information security initiatives.
• Provide platform support and guidance to the Marketing team on system optimization.
