About The Position

As a systems engine er for Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Guidance program, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the Atlantic Fleet Ballistic Missile Guidance Systems. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
  • Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
  • Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools
  • Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
  • Able to develop and implement test and diagnostic procedures
  • Experience troubleshooting and/or implementing installations of equipment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to propose ideas, solicit input, and provide optimized solutions
  • Desire to learn and grow professionally
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
