Fax Server Clerk Float - Part Time

About The Position

This position is responsible for filing medical records into the patient’s OncoEMR chart from the Fax Server. The Fax Server Clerk will also be responsible for printing and distributing any faxes that do not need to be filed into the patient’s OncoEMR chart. The Fax Server Clerk must be able to file fax the records in a timely and accurate manner. Fax Server Clerk position may be required to work in a clinic based on clinic or region needs.

Requirements

High School diploma/GED
1 year of general office experience
Prior computer experience
Good organizational skills
Critical thinking skills including solid problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management and organizational skills.
Must be detailed oriented with the ability to exercise independent judgment.
Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills, and diversity awareness.
Ability to work effectively with sensitive and confidential material and sometimes emotionally charged matters.
Good command of the English language.
Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentation) are an active listener, and effectively provides balanced feedback.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of medical terminology and/or previous experience working in a medical office/hospital environment preferred.
Second language is an asset but not required.
