The Microelectronics (μE) Product Line performs cutting-edge microelectronics research in its Science & Technology (S&T) area and delivers advanced microelectronic products in its three Development & Production areas that advance mission capabilities across commercial and defense applications. We are seeking a technology leader to join our S&T area to lead the Integrated Circuits Technical Group. The candidate will lead a team to engage with external and internal customers to build, win, and execute programs that support the research and development of RF, Mixed-Signal, Digital, and Photonic integrated circuits. They are expected to leverage their position, reputation, and technical expertise to build and maintain relationships with government S&T organizations such as OUSD, DARPA, etc. Additionally, the candidate is expected to define and advance the Integrated Circuits technical and programmatic roadmaps within the S&T area. The Integrated Circuits Technical Group Lead is responsible for: Developing the portfolio strategy, with a research and development growth strategy Operating as Principal Investigator or Program Manager for program(s) within the portfolio, setting technical/programmatic direction and guiding teams in executing complex research projects that regularly involving multiple technical fields Growing the next generation of technology development managers and scientists through mentoring Aligning external customer goals with internal business expectations for successful delivery of business salient Collaborating with business areas to strategically align CRAD efforts with future programs of record Other duties and responsibilities as required This position reports directly to the Director of Microelectronics S&T and can be based out of our Burlington, MA; Lexington, MA; or Merrimack, NH facilities, though it will require collaboration with staff across our business areas and facilities in the Northeast. Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
