About The Position

The Fast & Fresh Clerk position is a part-time role that requires night and weekend shifts. The clerk will provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service, operate the cash register, ensure cleanliness of the store, and manage product supply needs.

Requirements

• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Ability to file, post, and mail materials; copy data from one record to another.
• No education or experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern, and patience in all customer interactions.
• Greets customers in a friendly manner and makes an effort to learn their names.
• Assists customers by escorting them to products, loading or unloading heavy items, and passing along customer suggestions.
• Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly service to customers who call.
• Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Operates cash register accurately and scans products.
• Redeems promotional coupons and processes various payment methods.
• Assists with inventory and checks in delivered merchandise.
• Maintains cleanliness of the store and ensures proper sanitation procedures.
• Orders merchandise and supplies as needed.
• Prices products for customers as necessary.

Benefits

• Anticipated hourly starting wage of $15.00 to $18.75 depending on experience.
