The Fast & Fresh Clerk position is designed to provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service while ensuring the cleanliness of the store and the quality and quantity of products available.

Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions.
Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner.
Makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name whenever possible.
Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach products, loading/unloading heavy items, and passing along customer suggestions.
Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly, helpful service.
Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
Operates cash register accurately and scans products.
Redeems promotional coupons, food stamps, and processes various payment methods.
Places merchandise in bags or boxes and gives packages to customers.
Assists with inventory of the department and checks in delivered merchandise.
Fills displays and stocks shelves.
Ensures proper maintenance of the lot and performs cleaning duties.
Maintains strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress.
Reports to work when scheduled and on time.

Must have the ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
Ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
Must have the ability to file, post, and mail materials.
Ability to guide people and provide basic direction.
