The Fast & Fresh Clerk provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service, operates the cash register accurately, and ensures the cleanliness of the store, quality and quantity of products, and tends to supply needs in the store and at the pumps.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Ability to file, post, and mail materials; copy data; and guide people.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern, and patience in all customer interactions.
• Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner.
• Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach products, and loading/unloading heavy items.
• Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly, helpful service.
• Operates cash register accurately and scans products.
• Redeems promotional coupons and processes various payment methods.
• Places merchandise in bags or boxes and gives packages to customers.
• Assists with inventory and checks in delivered merchandise.
• Fills displays and stocks shelves.
• Maintains cleanliness of the lot and store, including snow removal and trash disposal.
• Cleans work areas and ensures proper sanitation procedures are followed.
• Orders merchandise and supplies as needed.
• Prices products for customers as necessary.
