About The Position

The Fast & Fresh Assistant Manager assists the Fast & Fresh Manager in setting the department standards for customer service, employee relations, cleanliness, sanitation, professional appearance, and overall profitability. The role involves presenting the best quality product at a competitive retail price to customers. The Assistant Manager is responsible for providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service, ensuring that customers feel valued and supported during their shopping experience.

Requirements

• High School diploma or over one year of related work experience.
• Ability to solve practical problems with a variety of variables.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Ability to file, post, and mail materials; copy data from one record to another.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions.
• Greets customers in a friendly manner and makes an effort to learn their names.
• Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, and loading or unloading heavy items.
• Makes note of and passes along customer suggestions or requests.
• Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly, helpful service.
• Acts on issues when the C-Store Manager is absent.
• Fills displays and works in the sales area.
• Counts cash drawers and maintains cash accountability records.
• Assists the Fast & Fresh Department Manager with additional work as needed.
• Assists with the monthly inventory process.
• Instructs, assigns, reviews, and plans the work of others.
