Mastronardi offers a structured, 10-week internship program that runs three times per year, during the Spring, Summer and Fall. This internship provides students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and learn from industry professionals.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year bachelor’s degree program focused on finance, accounting, economics, business analytics, or any other related discipline.
  • Results-driven with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and can manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Knowledge of financial principles and practices.
  • Desire to learn and continuously improve.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to summarize and present findings clearly to various audiences.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are critical for success in this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or modeling is a plus.
  • Experience with Power BI is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assess financial performance by analyzing key metrics, comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets, and identifying and investigating variances.
  • Drive financial improvement through detailed analysis of performance metrics, variance tracking, trend identification, and strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Assist in the development and automation of recurring reports and dashboards to effectively track key business and market indicators.
  • Participate in quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes.
  • Support the preparation of financial presentations and management reporting.
  • Working closely with Farms GMs and Head Growers to assess their weekly financial picture.
  • Manage key data sources for various reporting and analyses.
  • Contribute to Ad-Hoc reporting, analysis, and projects.
  • Assist in improving the timeliness of the weekly financial reporting process.
