About The Position

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales, restaurant, or farmers market experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating discounts.
• English speaking; multilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are a plus for effective communication with diverse customers.
• Familiarity with technical sales or electronic devices is beneficial.
• Must own a large/sport utility/truck vehicle for use; must have a clean driving record and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Early morning pick up the tent, displays, and product from the warehouse to be brought to each market location one hour prior to market start time and returned after each market.
• Set up tent, display, and maintain a clean and organized booth display, including restocking and arranging product.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their purchases and inquiries.
• Proactively describe product benefits to maximize sales opportunities.
• Operate cash register and SQUARE point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Assist in inventory management, including receiving and reporting sold/not sold merchandise by flavor.
• Collaborate with management to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
