MonilKansas City, MO

About The Position

Help cattle producers succeed with virtual fencing—and be part of building Monil’s presence in the United States! Monil is a fast moving company building virtual fencing technology for grazing livestock. Founded in Norway, the company has already introduced the system to livestock operations across Europe and experienced strong growth, with sales increasing by 350% in 2025. Our system helps cattle producers manage grazing more efficiently, expand access to pasture, and reduce the time spent building and maintaining physical fences. The Opportunity Monil is now establishing its first presence in the United States—at a time when virtual fencing is beginning to take off across the country. Our base is in the Kansas City region, and our initial focus for 2026 is working with cattle producers across Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Oklahoma, and Nebraska. Monil’s initial US setup consists of a small team on the ground in the Kansas City region, temporarily relocated from Monil’s European organization. Over time, responsibility for the US business will transition to a permanently Midwest-based team. New hires will represent the first members of Monil’s long-term US team and will play key roles in building and shaping the company’s presence in the United States. As a Farmer Success Manager, your role is to help producers successfully adopt and use the Monil system on their operations. You will work directly with ranchers to ensure they get real value from the technology—from their first setup through long-term use in the field. If this sounds like something you would enjoy building together as part of our team, we would love to hear from you!

Requirements

  • You have experience in agriculture, ideally cattle, grazing, or livestock production.
  • You enjoy working directly with producers and building long-term relationships.
  • You are comfortable spending time both in the field and on the phone supporting customers.
  • You are organized and proactive, and you take ownership of solving problems.
  • You are comfortable working with digital tools such as CRM and customer success tools, and ideally have experience helping structure, implement, or improve how these systems are used.
  • You are comfortable explaining technology and guiding producers through new tools.
  • You are self-motivated and comfortable working independently without close supervision in an early-stage environment where not everything is defined yet.
  • You are excited about joining early and helping build something new.
  • Whether you have worked in agriculture services, livestock technology, equipment support, ag sales, or customer-facing roles in the industry, we are open to candidates who understand producers and enjoy helping them succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Own the rancher journey from first conversation through onboarding, adoption, and long-term success.
  • Lead onboarding and training, helping producers successfully deploy and use the system through phone support and on-farm visits.
  • Spend time in the field with producers across Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Oklahoma, and Nebraska conducting demos and supporting implementations.
  • Drive expansion within existing accounts by identifying opportunities for additional collars, new grazing areas, and new use cases.
  • Support new business opportunities through inbound inquiries, phone outreach, follow-ups, farm visits, demo days, and industry events.
  • Track and improve key customer metrics including adoption, retention, NPS, and expansion revenue using CRM and structured follow-up.
  • Provide excellent, responsive and proactive support during critical periods like grazing season and system deployment.
  • Be the voice of the producer, capture field insights and turn them into scalable learning, creating practical communication (updates, seasonal tips, best practices) that helps all producers succeed while providing real-world input for product development and priorities.

Benefits

  • The opportunity to help build Monil’s presence in the United States from the ground up.
  • A product that livestock producers are already using successfully in Europe.
  • Significant autonomy and the chance to shape how the company supports producers in the Midwest.
  • Competitive base salary with performance-based compensation.
  • The opportunity to grow with the company as the US team develops.
  • A straightforward, practical company culture focused on solving real problems for producers.
