About The Position

The Farm Worker position at Catfish Wireless LLC involves various tasks related to the production and maintenance of catfish farms. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks related to the production of catfish including seining, equipment maintenance, and grading levees.
• Prepare ponds for fingerlings by draining, removing aquatic weeds, and filling with water.
• Monitor and correct oxygen levels in pond water and observe fish behavior and physical condition.
• Harvest food fish from ponds and load them onto trucks for transport.
• Maintain pond areas by removing weeds and grass, and monitor for disease and predatory birds.
• Repair equipment including electric paddle wheels, tractors, and oxygen monitoring systems.
• Handle live fish and perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and in water depths of 4 to 6.5 feet.
