Responsibilities

• Clearing, cleaning, and preparing land for farming.
• Maintaining greenhouses for seed germination.
• Rebuilding greenhouse structures and applying new coverings.
• Mixing specialized fertilized soil for seeding.
• Planting seeds in trays and transplanting them to the field by hand.
• Applying fertilizer and creating seed beds in fields.
• Installing plastic mulch and drip tape irrigation systems.
• Punching holes for individual plants and driving support sticks in seed beds.
• Laying out and hooking up irrigation pipes and testing systems.
• Applying tomato twine to support plant growth throughout the season.
• Hand-picking produce and processing it, including grading, sorting, packing, weighing, and labeling.
