About The Position

Reynolds Homestead in the Forest Resources and Environmental Conservation at the College of Natural resources & Environment is currently searching for a Farm-Forest Manager to support the Reynold Homestead FRRC in development, installation and completion of projects and maintenance of facilities.

Requirements

• Knowledge of forest management, forest biology, plant ID (especially trees), and ecosystem relationships.
• Ability to read and understand complex instructions relating to research
• ability to pay attention to detail and keep accurate records
• ability to set priorities
• work independently and follow schedules
• Exhibit mechanical, electrical and plumbing knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair equipment failures
• knowledge of farm machinery and skill with power tools
• ability to be a team player
• previous forestry or related research experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience.
